Foreign nationals account for 20% claiming dole

FOREIGN nationals account for one in five of the people claiming the dole, according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office.

Foreign nationals on the live register increased by 45,798 to 79,077 over the course of the year. The majority are from the EU accession states.

And that doesnt even take into account the thousands of Non EU nationals like asylum seekers or people given leave to remain that go on to have 4 or 5 children and claim welfare in order to pay for a large family, these people who all get some form of welfare are under a different catagory, it is about time that the government learn from the mistakes the British and French made in bringing so many Non europeans into their countrys, in england there are in the same family 5 or 6 generations that started as asylum seekers in the 40's and still claiming welfare, are we going to allow this country to become the next to be sucked dry ?
